The problem
As part of our retail elevation project for Sports Direct, we faced the challenge of designing a system to assist customers in navigating the store. Working within the constraints of a heritage building with no possibility of structural alteration and dealing with a challenging customer flow, this task was quite demanding.
The solution
Our objective was to develop bold yet easily understandable in-store communications to aid navigation throughout the store, whilst also enhancing the brand’s tone of voice at crucial points throughout the store.
The result
By employing clear wayfinding techniques, we ensured that customers could effortlessly find their way through three levels of sporting goods, guaranteeing a seamless shopping experience.
