We developed Dr. Agarwal Opticals as a complete brand and retail experience, translating decades of medical expertise into a welcoming, design-led environment centred around clarity, trust and customer care.
The Problem
Dr. Agarwal Eye Hospital, a trusted name in medical eye care, wanted to extend its expertise into the retail space through the launch of a new-age optical brand.
The ambition was to create an experience that translated decades of clinical trust into a seamless, hospitality-led retail journey. The challenge was twofold: to build a brand identity from the ground up, and to transform it into an engaging and intuitive retail environment that makes expert eye care feel both accessible and inspiring.
The Solution
We partnered with Dr. Agarwal Eye Hospital to build Dr. Agarwal Opticals end-to-end — from brand strategy and identity to tone of voice, brand graphics, and retail store design.
Our approach combined storytelling and spatial design into a single unified experience: one that welcomes customers with warmth, informs with clarity, and builds confidence through expertise.
The retail environments, spanning 10 stores ranging from 350 sq. ft. to 1,500 sq. ft., were designed around simplicity, comfort, and intuitive flow. Clear wayfinding, category storytelling, and carefully considered brand communications transform every customer decision into a guided and reassuring conversation.
Visually, the design language balances clinical precision with hospitality-inspired warmth. Messaging across the space, crafted in the brand’s new tone of voice, reinforces ideas of holistic wellness, trusted guidance, and lifelong care.
The Result
The result is a branded retail experience where clarity becomes both functional and emotional. Every element — from the logo to the lighting, from the tone of voice to the signage — works together to redefine what optical retail can be.
