When Nike and Sports Direct reached out looking for a training challenge for their flagship Manchester Arndale store, we turned to social media for inspiration. The ‘dead hang’ trend seemed perfect, appealing to customers’ competitive nature.
We created a space where shoppers could attempt to hang from a pull up bar for as long as possible: the bar fitted with a sensor that stopped the clock, displayed on a large screen above their head, when they dropped. With a leaderboard thrown into the mix, it was the perfect way to get groups of friends competing against each other in-store.




When it comes to indoor training, the Wattbike name has become iconic over the years.
They needed an impressive exhibition stand, and it was down to us to create it - demonstrating both the scale of the community using the brand, and the innovation behind it.
Our solution included a large interactive touchscreen app, which we designed and created from scratch. Using recent ride data, it showed the mileage outputs and daily wattage from thousands of riders from all over
the globe and met our three goals: to inspire cyclists to train harder, to explain Wattbike’s technical USPs, and to generate excitement about their upcoming new product launch.
