New Retail Format

Kathmandu design, manufacture and retail outdoor & travel clothing and equipment. The brand was 'born in New Zealand' where it has numerous stores but is relatively new to the UK.

The One Off were asked to develop a new retail format aligned to the UK market place. We developed a simple but flexible retail system that can cope with the diverse product range presented in store. Materials are pared down and where possible natural or recycled. We mixed in some brand storytelling elements that explain the Kathmandu philosophy. The teams travel photos are integrated into the wall paper in the fitting rooms.

Universal Works

Universal Works Retail Store

Following the completion of the rebrand, Universal Works found the perfect London location to open their first store, Lambs Conduit Street. We created a store based around the brand image of honest, crafted and universal design. Complete with a large anamorphic graphic on two walls and the ceiling and bespoke furniture also designed by The One Off. The store is trading now so be sure to pop in if you're near by.

Blackwell

Promotional Graphics

A revitalised promotional calendar has been completed, including new product grouping strategies. Student packs, 'Change Your Mind' and various sector promotions, including children and young adults, were all designed with great sales results.

ACS (Average Customer Spend) is up 12%, promotions are yielding a 400% increase and publisher support has increased... they want to help.

Speedo

Fastskin³ Campaign

The new competitive range of swimwear uses innovative technology which allows the swimmer to "Become One' with their suit, cap and goggles. Our retail unit and bespoke mannequin that was designed to reinforce the Fastskin³ campaign, will be rolled out globally. The current Covent Garden Fastskin³ window campaign using anamorphic graphics was also design by TOO.

Turkey Store

We created 3 in store experience zones, Connected World, Mobility and Gaming which were based on an organic and connected environment that lets technology be accessible and human. The zones demonstrate how new technology products can solve common customer problems.

The aim is to inspire the consumer by heroing them and offering bespoke solutions, rather than pre-packaged bundles. Each space has its own style, mood and content. Interactive displays and iconic architectural features invite customers to live learn and play in a communal experience.

Seasonal Campaigns

In line with the changing seasons we plan and shoot four UK and International photographic shoots a year, from sunny beaches in Cape Town to muddy fields in Essex. We bring the George brand to life whilst encompassing their core values Style, Quality and Value. We plan, design, brief, art direct, source locations, select models and create impactful and vibrant POS campaigns that are worthy of a high street retailer.

Primark

Young Dimension Brand and Identity

The new identity for the Young Dimension brand takes its inspiration from coloured building blocks that form part of every childs toy box.

A light-coloured option has been created for the younger age range 6-24 months, whereas a more primary-coloured version was proposed for the slightly older age range of 2-7 years. Funky characters were also created for the younger age range which are used on the reverse of ticketing and on some in-store POS. Patterns and colour blocks were also used on ticketing to add vibrancy to appear to our younger customers.

EE

Rebrand Retail Design

In October 2011 we were appointment by EE to develop a retail environment that supported the re-brand. We worked with the Retail Team to produce a highly flexible store that would change the way customers shop a mobile phone store.

Alongside the 50 new EE stores, we were challenged with developing treatments to update the branding across 650 T-Mobile, Orange and Everything Everywhere stores in 2 nights. All treatments had to be concealed until the new brand was launched in November 2012.
