Interpretation - Dover Castle

For the Dover Castle project we designed a mix of site orientation panels, interactive elements and a full interpretation of the site to communicate the function and relevance of the Admiralty Look Out during the 1st and 2nd World Wars.

Authenticity was paramount; panels were printed with concrete textures and materials used were functional and in keeping with what would have been used during the wars.

The exhibition is an exciting representation of the past where visitors can 'learn by doing' with a series of interactive activities.

English Heritage

Interpretation - Grimes Graves

English Heritage approached us to design a new interpretation for Grime’s Graves, a Neolithic flint mine, offering visitors a much wider and richer overview of the landscape and its history. To create a space that is accessible to visitors of all ages, from school children to enthusiastic explorers and historians.

The whole interpretation from the structure to the graphic treatments was inspired by the landscape and its development over time. Configured to fit a lot of content into the small space, the new exhibition creates an emotive and atmospheric experience for visitors.

Travelodge

Hotel Interiors - Rooms

We have redesigned the Travelodge environment in-line with its new brand identity. We wanted to add value to the customer experience without spending a penny more delivering it. Getting it right is important when you are going to build 10,000 rooms by 2010!

We wanted to create a room that contained no more or less than any guest needed for a great nights rest. We did this by taking time to understand what customers needed and then rationalising the contents of the room to ensure there was no wasted space or equipment.

Barclays

Corporate Building Branding

We created branded interiors for Barclays corporate regional offices.

The spaces mixed customer meeting and staff workspaces. Graphics were used to explain some of the long term relationships the bank held with its customers. For staff a number of different devices were used to enable the business, teams and individuals to share their stories.

The University of Nottingham

Technology Demonstrator

We designed a flexible exhibition space within the University of Nottingham to help showcase the University's latest technologies, inventions & expertise arising from research. The aim was to create a multi-functional space comprising of exhibits about technologies at stages of development from early invention to a spin-out company and meeting facilitation space. An exhibition kit was designed & created enabling parts to move out to remote locations on the campus. A strong physical identity was created along with graphic templates to help deliver information in a consistent and structured way.

Crocs

Bread and Butter stand 2013

We worked with Crocs to design and manage the build of their exhibition stand for the team at one of the biggest fashion trade shows in Europe, Bread and Butter Berlin, to showcase the brand's extensive - and some might say surprising - range of winter shoes and boots. Along with picnic bench meeting areas, cosy sheepskin rugs, and even the odd dusting of snow, the space was welcoming and intimate, yet practical for the team to promote the collections.

Travelodge

Hotel Interiors - Bar

The bar space for Travelodge has transformed through the day and night into a space that can cater for everything from serving breakfast to lunch or just a nightcap. We wanted to create a welcoming space whatever the time of day and whether the customer is a lone traveller or in a large group.

We divided the space into both open dining and private seating areas. The space combines a neutral canvas of warm grey tones with Zebrano timber and splashes of red to add colour and texture. We created artful graphic panels and softened the large glass windows with leaf patterns.
