Collaboration Program

We worked with the Speedo Marketing team to devise a clear and cohesive activation programme to increase consumer awareness in the 2016 ‘Get Speedo Fit’ campaign.

The activation programme was driven by the appointment of 2 professional athletes, Mark Foster and Richie Porte. The athletes worked together to produce swim sessions that would benefit people who currently use other sports to get fit. We produced, art directed and filmed Mark and Richie to create content for 2 promotional videos that highlight the benefits of adding swimming into a workout regime. In addition to this we also created assets for ecommerce and social media, as well as a consumer booklet to align comms across all consumer touch points.

Shine

We were briefed by Speedo to design a multi-channel marketing toolkit for the launch of a digital product collaboration with Misfit. We designed a creative identity and tone of voice, which was applied to various assets including an in-store retail unit, web pages, social media posts and targeted emails. We received great feedback particularly on our prompt delivery 
of assets following challenging timelines. Sales of the misfit shine exceeded expectations and products had to be pulled from stores to meet the demand online.

Goggle Animations

We were briefed to produce some informative videos aimed at educating the Speedo consumers about the unique benefits of their new premium goggle range. The videos were a combination of film and 3D animation. We carefully filmed some instructional content to show how the goggles are assembled and customised and combined this with 3D animations of each colour way. The 3D animations were used to explode different aspects of the goggles to really hero the features and benefits.

Sculpture

We were tasked by Speedo to elevate, refresh and modernise their Sculpture range in the eyes of the consumer, to appeal to wider audience. We re-positioned the category by shooting beautiful body confident women in a stunning and tranquil backdrop to drive desirability and demand. We created a 30 second mood edit for Speedo to use on social channels.

Digital Wall

We were tasked by Speedo to create an inspiring and engaging retail solution to showcase Speedo Fit in store. We developed an interactive digital wall and product display. This allows customers to explore new ranges, identify product benefits, ideas on training and techniques as well as details of their Speedo Fit app. The screen also uses live social streams, sound and campaign imagery to provide a 360 brand experience.

Body Positioning Swimwear Window

To help promote and create awareness for the Speedo Fit Body Positioning swimwear range we created a bold and eye catching window display.

Using fluorescent acrylic panels and neon lighting, we exploded the swimwear showing each layer of the swimwear to outline different aspects of the suits technology.

Biofuse Goggles Window

Goggles are key in every swimmers success. The Biofuse window celebrates Speedo’s new and improved goggle range. The window is simple and to the point. Improved fit, softer frames and smoother seals provide added comfort, which results in extra confidence in the pool. By using 3D lettering we were able to hero the key campaign message against some powerful brand imagery. Tinted blue acrylic heads were produced for the product to be model on, framed with illuminated hoops to help grab attention and draw the eye.

Summer Window 2015

The recent #loveswimming summer window is a modern take on a holiday postcard.

Social media is still a growing phenomenon and is big part of people’s day-to-day lives.

People use Facebook and Instagram to share experiences and adventures, creating a personalised postcard for their family and friends.

#loveswimming brings this to life, holiday snaps explode out of the phone essence ecapsulate the playful essence of summer.

Sculpture Window

To support the Speedo Sculpture range we designed a premium window to highlight the key swimsuit. We also shot the products in our studio to pinpoint the swimsuit’s detailing through different materials and lighting, bringing it to life in the window.

The swimsuit sold out within just a few days, as suspected - so the window panels were reversible with a second product to promote other items when required.

Sculpture Wall Bay

Alongside the window, we worked on a 3m wall bay just inside the entrance of the store to highlight the entire Sculpture range.

The suit benefits were communicated using studio photography, the wall bay used a mix of materials and lighting to give the area a more premium feel and sit in line with the window.

Fastskin Window

To highlight the new Fastskin range launch in-store we designed a supporting campaign window.

We used a lenticular to give the illusion of a moving swimmer to catch the eye of customers approaching the store.

Fastskin In-Store Area

We redesigned the Fastskin area in Covent Garden to sit more in line with the brand and range direction.

The range is aimed at professional and elite swimmers so we designed the space to reflect a more technical and professional feel.

The space is complete with an in-store infinity window and body scanner so that customers can get a full Speedo experience.

Fit Window

We have been working with the Speedo team across a selection of campaign windows.

This Speedo Fit window focuses on the swimming community and pushing the app-services which allows customers to swim and connect with each other. We used materials and layering to maximise the campaign photography.

Global Fixture Design

We worked along side the Speedo retail team to redevelop the global fixture design and store environment.

The process included full research & analysis, concept design, development, prototypes, design intent and layout of store scenarios.

The overall objectives were to; reduce the current number of components, make the fixtures more flexible, cost effective and more minimal in design whilst working within the brands new VM retail guidelines.

Speedo international and local Speedo markets are currently rolling out the new fixtures, whilst we maintain to provide all global store layouts.

Brand Wagon

The Speedo Roadshow is a journey touring the UK and Europe, visiting key retail outlets, retailer HQs and top consumer events and festivals. The tour will enable the brand to showcase a greater depth of colours, patterns and contemporary styling throughout swim fitness, cup sized body shaping Speedo Sculpture, and Learn To Swim collections.
