| The One Off has designed a number of customer experiences within Barclays new Piccadilly flagship store. The installations aim to attract people into branch and build brand warmth through engagement and generosity. | The primary installation is Being:London. Located at the front of the branch, in the main banking hall, contrasting with its commercial surrounding by being a pure brand experience. | An artful installation that celebrates London, its communities and people by reflecting the essence of the city. | Other installations include interactive galleries in the basement and first floor designed to reassure and educate customers on Barclays services. | We invited a group of Premier and retail customers to be filmed for the gallery sharing what Being:London means to them and how Barclays have helped them. | From temporary exhibitions at the Scottish Open to brand architecture at the Worldwide Headquarters, Canary Wharf, we now work with Barclays across retail, signage, interiors, identity and branding. | From pencils for meeting rooms to 160 brand walls across 15 floors, we expressed the Barclays brand, at appropriate volumes, through the new Worldwide Headquarters at Canary Wharf. | The Branch of the Future in Manchester is the first of its kind worldwide and is taking banking to a new level. During the build we were asked to develop a campaign to generate awareness and interest in the flagship branch. | We based the campaign on ‘Manchester City of Firsts,’ telling stories of the city through beautifully crafted illustrations such as the first lonely hearts advert, the first public transport system and the discovery of splitting the atom. | We worked with Jeff Banks on a whole range of staff uniforms, from the security guard at the front door to the hostess on the 31st floor. One lump or two... six designs, 7,000 mugs; one for everybody. | We designed a welcome pack for each member of staff which gives them everything they need to help settle into their new home. We created first-class lounge-style environments at Canary Wharf, The City, Knightsbridge and Paris. | A unique brand experience space, permanently situated at 1 Churchill Place. A simple ribbon runs through the space which can flex to accommodate different brand messages and media. | The team travelled literally around the world with video camera in hand, to create a brand film showing Barclays in action in London, New York, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Botswana, Johannesburg and Madrid.
